In Our Opinion
A fantastic opportunity to experience a more traditional way of life offering basic accommodation in a tranquil setting. It provides clean, modern facilities yet keeps the essence of a Bedouin camp both in its appearance and homely atmosphere.
Location
Located on the edge of the Wadi Rum Nature Reserve it is easily reached by car or bus.
Facilities
The camp and rest area provide traditional Bedouin tented areas, modern hot communal showers and toilets, a terraced area, bar facilities, a small shop and bazaar. In addition there is a small amphitheatre and swimming pool.
Accommodation is provided in either tents or chalets, all provided with beds, linen and blankets. There are plenty of different shaded seating areas together with two main Bedouin type tented areas with integral seating and central fires. All of this is contained within a secure main central compound with impressive surrounding views and wonderful sunrise and sunset viewing from the small mountain backdrop to the camp.
There are plenty of desert activities available which can be arranged locally including quad bikes, jeep trips, camel riding or just beautiful walks through the surronding areas.
